Bike Parade for Climate Resilience

Join us for a brand new ‘Bike Parade for Climate Resilience’ before the 45th annual Wake Up the Earth Festival in Jamaica Plain!

On May 6th at 10 AM, join us behind the Jackson Square MBTA station to decorate your bikes and participate in ride marshal training. The parade will launch promptly at 10:30 AM with a colorful processional up Centre street to the JP Monument at Centre and South Streets.

At 11 AM, you will have the option of joining the main parade or moving to the festival at Stony Brook field.

Cyclists are also invited to a community potluck on Friday evening (April 28th) at Spontaneous Celebrations, 45 Danforth Street, from 6:30 to 10 PM, focused on creating art and decorations for the bike brigade with FREE Indian food from Mela Indian restaurant.

Please visit for more information.
